Our Story
In my travels I seek local farmers markets and happened across a loaf of artisan bread in McCall Idaho in 2017. Learning quickly sourdough is not a recipe but a process, I dove into learning how to create a starter of my own. Blanche, named after my great grandmother, was created 11/9/2021 and is now in 29 U.S. States including Hawaii, Cananda, Netherlands, England, Mexico, Columbia and Guam!
I am a self-taught sourdough baker, sharing my self-made sourdough starter, teaching families to create delicious, good for you breads in their homes too! Having taught 28 sourdough classes in 6 locations. We travel and have baked our sourdough in Hawaii, Bahamas and many U.S. States, taking pride in learning new things to teach in my classes each time.
